There are regional difference in the USA for insulation.  In the intermountain area you can see we are in the most servere region-very similar to Alaska and Canada.  Large tempeture differences in the winter from inside that may be 70 degrees to outside that could be -20F.  Big tempeture differences are why it is so important to do air sealing and proper installation in our area.  Good insulation and air sealing will make your home more comfortable in the Winter and Summer seasons.
